I have been teaching drawing for over 10 years based on techniques used in “Drawing with the Right Side of the Brain.”


Learn how to explore the world around you by using lines, shapes, and value. By learning simple proven techniques you will learn how to put what you see down on paper. You will practice these techniques on landscapes, still life’s, and portraits


$50.00 per student

Fall Drawing Classes

I have been teaching drawing for 7 years based on techniques used in “Drawing with the Right Side of the Brain.”
You will learn how to explore the world around you through the use of line, shape, and value. We will practice these techniques on landscape and still life in Beginning Classes,  portraits in Intermediate Classes.

The following are supplies that you will need to purchase for the class. You can find these items at 
T & L Office Supply in downtown Kennewick or at most art supply stores.

With Deann Kennedy

Deann is a well know local water-colorist who has been teaching for years. She has participated in and has won at several National Juried Art Shows

"We will be exploring some different mediums in art, watercolors, pen and ink, pastels and acrylic.  With a focus on color,  Also having fun by playing some games to reinforce  the information about color.  That is the key word having fun!       

     $34.00 per student
for 4 classes
Wednesdays starting May 23th-June 13th
Time:   9:30-11:00
To hold your students place a $10.00 registration fee will be required which will be deducted from your class fee.  The balance of $24.00 is due the first day of class. 


The following are supplies that you will need to purchase for the class. You can find these items at Michael’s or Craft Warehouse.

# 6 round watercolor brush (not in packages)
pencil
scissors ,glue stick, 8x10" canvas board or stretch canvas
(please wear old clothes that can get paint on them)

Fall Classes

I am going to have to cancel any plans for Summer classes this year due to my husbands up and coming hip replacement surgery.  I will be on duty as his nurse this summer :)  If you are interested for fall classes do contact me.

Summer Lessons 2009



Summer Drawing Classes 5 Weeks of Classes

June 16th - July 14th

For ages 8 & up

I have been teaching kids to draw for 7 years based on techniques used in “Drawing with the Right Side of the Brain”

Your student will learn how to explore the world around them through the use of line, shape, value. I will teach them how to really “look” with their eyes.” By using simple proven techniques they will learn how to put that vision down on paper. We will practice these techniques on landscape and still life.

Class Schedule & Pricing:

Five week session / June 16th –July 14th

Private Student $125.00 per session $25.00 per lesson

Group Lesson for 2 $ 75.00/$15.00

Group Lesson for 3 $ 60.00/$12.00

Group Lesson for 4 $ 50.00/$10.00

Tuesdays

9:30-10:30 am

10:30-11:30 am

11:30-12:30 am

Payment is due first day of class.

There will be one make up day for any lessons missed due to illness.

To hold your students place a $10.00 registration fee will be required which will be deducted from your class tuition.

I will have classes for new students/beginners, and classes for Intermediate Echo Students who have taken my class already, and Advanced for those that have had my class 2 + times.
